Truckee Tahoe Swim Team
2026–2027 Season Schedule
Truckee Tahoe Swim Team (TTST) is a year-round competitive swim team, operating from September through July. We take the month of August off and generally follow a loosely aligned holiday and school-break schedule with the local public schools.
The 2026–2027 season will include regular practices, all-level swim meets, championship opportunities, and special travel meets throughout Northern California and Nevada.

September
September 8 — First practices of the 2026–2027 season
The new season begins with a fresh start for the entire team, including our returning swimmers and new members.
October
October 16–18 — Reno Swim Meet
A great competition opportunity for swimmers at every TTST level.
Swimmers 13 and older may also have the opportunity to participate in the King of the Hill 50 Challenge.
November
Early–Mid November — Weekend Swim Meet — Date and location TBA
November 23–27 — Thanksgiving Week / No Practice
December
Early December — Weekend Swim Meet for all TTST levels — Date and location TBA
December 18–January 3 — Winter Break / No Practice
Winter 2027
January
January 15–17 — Blizzard Blast — Carson City
An all-level meet and a great opportunity for swimmers to compete and continue building experience throughout the season.
Late January / Early February — Senior Travel Meet
This meet will be scheduled based on Senior Team participation and demand.
February
Around Valentine's Day Weekend — All-Level Swim Meet
A meet opportunity for swimmers across all TTST practice groups.
March
Mid-March — Sierra Nevada Short Course Championships
For swimmers who qualify based on applicable time standards.
Spring 2027
April
April 10–18 — Spring Break / No Practice
April — TTST will look to add an additional age-group meet for swimmers at all levels.
May
May 28–30 — Carson City Mountain Classic
Open to all TTST levels.
Summer 2027
June
June 16 or later — Transition to Morning Summer Practices
The exact transition date will depend on the number of school snow days and the local school calendar.
Once summer practices begin, TTST will transition to its morning practice schedule. Morning practices will continue through the end of July and the conclusion of the season.
June 18–20 — Reno Swim Meet
Open to all TTST levels.
July
July 9–11 — Reno Swim Meet
Open to all TTST levels.
July — Sierra Nevada Long Course Championships
For qualified swimmers ages 8–18. Exact dates and location are TBA.
Morning practices continue through the end of July.
Annual Meet Calendar
The TTST meet calendar traditionally follows a consistent annual pattern. The 2026–2027 schedule is expected to closely mirror last season, with dates adjusted slightly to match the weekends and calendar of the current season.
Please note: Meet dates and locations are approximate until officially confirmed. Final meet information will be communicated approximately 4–6 weeks before each event.

Championship meets are important season goals for swimmers who achieve the required qualifying standards.

For qualified swimmers ages 8–18 who achieve the required qualifying times.
Additional senior-level championship and travel opportunities may be added throughout the season based on qualifying standards, swimmer participation, and team demand.
All-Level Meets
One of the strengths of the TTST competition schedule is that many of our meets are designed for every practice group.
Our all-level meets are open to swimmers in:
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level 3
- Senior
These competitions are a great way for newer swimmers to gain their first meet experience while giving experienced swimmers opportunities to race, improve their times, and pursue qualifying standards.
