Things to know before you get started:
 
Swim Session dates are under the blue Team Info tab on the horizontal menu bar.
 
Weekly Session swim practices depend on group and are as follows for Fall, Winter and Spring (Summer times vary):
2:45-4:45 - Seniors (M-F)
3:45-5:00 - Gold (M-F)
4:45-6:00 - Silver (M-Th, F 3:45-5:00)
4:15-5:15 - Bronze (M-Th)
5:15-6:00 - Minnows (M/W or T/TH)
 
Fees:
* TTST annual registration fee is $50 per swimmer due the first day the swimmer joins the team and in September.
* All swimmers are required to join USA Swimming in order to participate in practices and/or meets.  USA Swimming provides liability protection for the team and is mandatory.  The annual fee is $75 per swimmer and is due the first day the swimmer joins the team and in September.  This is payable directly to USA Swimming.
*All families commit to fundraising $100 per swimmer in our spring swim-a-thon fundraiser.

Other team commitments are:
TTST is a competitive team and swimmers in the Silver, Gold & Senior Groups are required to participate in at least 1 meet per active session.  Bronze & Minnow swimmers are encouraged but not requied to compete.
Each family must provide a volunteer timer (1 - 2 hours) at each swim meet where their swimmer is entered.
In addition to timing at meets where your swimmer is competing, families may have to provide 4 hours of volunteer time per active session, including working at the Hot August Chill at Donner Lake in August.
 
Head Coach Debbie Meyer and Coach Betsy Hansen will coach the try-outs and do the group placings.  You can see group descriptions under the Team Info tab.
 
Try-outs are scheduled based on availability and are usually held the week prior to a session start.
