Hot August Chill Open Water Swim – Donner Lake – August 22, 2010

Mark your calendars for August 22, 2010, to attend the 2nd annual Hot August Chill Open Water Swim event sponsored by the Truckee Tahoe Swim Team. The scheduled events are for both master and age group swimmers.

The ½ mile and mile swims are USMS/PMS sanctioned events, while the youth age groups 1 mile, ½ mile and 500 yard swims (8-12 yrs. old) are sanctioned by USA Swimming/SNS.  The 500 yard swim is open to all USA swimmers.  The 1/2 mile and mile swim are open to swimmers 11 and up, or younger with parent and coaches recommendation. 

All swimmers must be current 2010 registered members of one of these organizations in order to compete. 

TTST is the sponsoring team and members are encouraged and needed to participate in various volunteer positions to assure the success of this event. 

Here is a list of some of the positions we need filled.
